Circle of Presidents 2012

In preparation of the XVIth Congress of the Conference of European Constitutional Courts, the Austrian Constitutional Court invited the presidents of the member courts to the Circle of Presidents held in Vienna from 9–11 September 2012. The year 2012 also marked the 40th anniversary of the Conference, which was celebrated on that occasion.

At this preparatory conference, the participants decided on the organizational framework for the next Congress. In substantive terms, they agreed on the theme of the XVIth Congress as a basis for its theoretical and practical deliberations.
